General
Minstrels are the primary healers and rezzers.
Healing
We can only heal effectively with no mobs on us, and you should be scrambling to get them off us.
Healing requires line-of-sight. We can't heal effectively around corners, tents, buildings, etc.
If we're out of power, be prepared to heal yourself.
Quick heal: single target, quick to cast, but still interruptible. Heals roughly a quarter to almost half of the morale bar. Has a 1 second recharge.
Big heal: single target, slower to cast and therefore very interruptible. Heals a third to over half. No recharge.
Group heal: a little longer to cast, heals any members in range for about the same as the quick heal, Short recharge. Lots of aggro.
Morale regen buff (party): instant cast. However we need to chain three songs before we can use this.
Big emergency heal (party): instant cast, no power cost. Pretty much completely heals everyone in range. Ten minute timer. Draws a ton of aggro down on our heads in an instant.
Resurrection
We get our rez skill at level 20.
We can't rez in combat, so don't release just because we don't rez you right away.
Crowd Control
We can fear an evil mobs for 15 seconds.
We can also lull undead to sleep for 30 seconds.
Miscellaneous
We have an ability called 'Song of Aid' (10-minute timer and lasts for 10 seconds) that enables every response ability for everyone in the fellowship.
Conjunctions are not easy for us. We always have to re-target, and we can't use red or yellow at range.
We have a feign death skill that allows us to shed aggro.

One of our Legendary traits is an in-combat rez, so this doesn't really always apply (though the in-combat rez isn't really worth the power it costs to use it).

Good summary! I often fellow with the same people and I am going to point them to this post. I am tired of telling them "Stay where I can see you...don't run under that Drake...I can't heal you well in the GB if there are 4 spiders on me..."

The main trouble that I have had noticed in some fellowships that I have joined is that few seem to know how to work together and let the tank do just that - tank. At lower levels this is to be expected until they learn how to play their class somewhat, but even at higher levels I have had fellowships that run all over and expect YOU to keep them ALL healed.
Also, do not go running after the add mobs I have feared off into other aggro, they will come back soon enough anyways.
Another suggestion would be to not to loot until ALL the mobs are killed else I can not see with my screen filled up with roll boxes half of which I have had trouble getting to anyways to just hit Pass.
